TC aiming for title in Bangladesh

TC Sports Club coach Mohomed Nizam has declared that the only target for him from the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup in Bangladesh is winning the championship. TC Sports is taking part in the Invitational Tournament on an opportunity offered by Football Association of Maldives. Speaking to the media prior to the departure, Nizam said that all his focus is on the trophy and there is no other target for him other than winning the championship.

“Some might take this as a joke, but there is no other target than winning the championship”.

A total of eight teams from six nations take part in this tournament. TC Sports is placed in group A, along with Abahani Limited Dhaka of Bangaladesh, FC Alga of Kirgizstan and FC Pocheon of South Korean.

“I have studied almost all the teams and all teams seem strong”.

“But we will give a good fight”.

Group B consists Chittagong Abahani Limited and Mohammedan Sporting Club Ltd of Bangladesh, Manang Marshyangdi Club of Nepal, Shaheen Asmayee F.C. (or Falcon of Asmayee) of Afghanistan.

TC will face Abahani Limited in their first match on Saturday, 18th of February 2017. Prize money of 20,000 US Dollars will be given to the champions
