Eagles clinched easy win against  Valencia

Club Eagles clinched easy win against Club Valencia to go to second place of Male’ League point table. Club Eagles won the game against Club Valencia by 3-0. Ansar Ibrahim, Ahmed Nashid and Ahmed Naufal were on the score sheet for Club Eagles.
Club Eagles started the game without any of their foreign players, however they were boosted by the return of Ahmed Nashid and Ahmed Rizwan.

Ansar put Club Eagles in front within 3 minutes with a decent volley. After their first goal, Club Eagles had flurry of chances for Rizwan and Nashid to increase the lead but both of their shots went wide of the goal.

Nashid doubled Club Eagles lead within half hour mark when he fired in a thunderous shot from inside the box to the roof of the net.

Three minutes later Club Eagles had another chance to score but Ansar’s shot went straight into the goal keeper Mohamed Faisal.

Club Valencia’s only chance of the opening half fell to Ahmed Usam in the 34th minute but his close range shot was punched away for a corner by the Club Eagles keeper Sujan.

Rizwan and second half substitute Ahmed Naufal had good opportunities to change the score line right after the break but goal keeper Faisal kept them at bay.

In the 53rd minute Naufal made up for missed chance when he took the advantage of a defensive mistake by Club Valencia’s defenders as he calmly slotted in third goal of the match.

In the final minutes of the second half, Club Valencia’s most experience player Ahmed Shifan was given marching orders for a second yellow card. Club Eagles defends diligently to preserve a clean sheet and almost grabbed a fourth when Ansar rattled the cross bar from outside the box in the injury time of the game.

TC Sports Club will play Victory Sports Club tonight at 2100hrs in the next game of Male’ League.
