New Radiant SC   Head Coach  
   
  Formed in 19 August 1979, New Radiant sports club is no doubt one of the successful clubs of Maldives. Featuring in almost all the domestic tournaments since their formation and many international tournaments, this team's successes are enormous. Winning all the tournaments of season 1997 and reaching the semi final of AFC CUP 2005 are said to be the best moments of club history.  
   
 
   
  Famous for making contracts with different coach every season, New Radiant's currect choice is a German.

Gerd, who has been working with a Vietnam club before joining New Radiant, concentrates a lot on players' physical fitness.

Gerd reveals that he is happy with the current squad in hand and brushes aside the rumour that New Radiant lacks midfielders.
