Target is to win says Suzain

Male', MALDIVES - Maziya coach Ali Suzain has said that his target for tomorrow night’s Charity shield match is to win the match. Speaking in the pre match press conference he said that winning the match would be a good start for the season for Maziya. He also welcome New Radiant coach Amir Alagic.

“First of all I would like to welcome my counterpart coach Mr Amir, Welcome to the football family of Maldives and I hope you will learn lot of things and you will share your experience with us during the season. We all are very much eager to learn you because you are a professional coach here. Welcome to Maldives”

“This match is very important for Maziya. There are many reasons why this match is so important. First thing is we will be able to see the changes in new radiant team with the new coach. And if we can achieve the target in the match, it would be very good start for Maziya to start the season” Suzain expressed his desire to win the game.

Suzain praised for the performance of Maziya in the previous games played.

“So far everything of Maziya is going very well, in most of the matches we had shown a good performance and this is the second match we are playing against a local team in the season. So it’s very important for us to bring out the result in the game and we are very prepared for that."

Speaking about the starting line, Suzain said there won’t be major changes in the team. The same team which played in AFC cup will be playing in tomorrow night’s game.

“There won’t be much change in starting line, almost the same team who played AFC cup will be playing. Japan player Toshi won’t play tomorrow. He didn’t participate in the trainings for past two days due to fever. It won’t be difficult to replace him for Maziya.”

“We will do whatever we can to win the game. We don’t know what we get by winning the match, but it’s not the important thing. Winning the shield is the most important thing.”
