Tragic bakaa’s international career is cut short because he opened up to a fact he genuinely felt and expressed. It however is nothing new, it happens all over the world but at most what the offender gets is a suspension not a life sentence of being sidelined to the margins.

I agree. Bakaa is so influential in critical matches.

Herbert and Bakaa should stop acting like children, sit down together and discuss their disagreements. They don't have to like each other to contribute to the team. I feel that once fit, Bakaa has a lot to give to the national team. His experience is vital to this inexperienced squad. Above all, their is no player in Maldivian football who gets close to Bakaa's quality in that defensive midfield position, a fact so glaring during our recent matches.

A well-balanced good squad apart from Bakaa's omission, which is sad and it's affecting our results. Hope this gets looked at again in the next opportunity to announce a new squad. Good luck to all players and the coaching staff in the 2 games.

There's some confusion about who's included and who's not. Which body is responsible for announcing the squad to the nation's fans? Is it simply down to heresay or investigative journalism?

discipline is important for success ... senior players need to be role models for the younger football generations, obviously baka isnt one.
