Male’, MALDIVES – BG Sports Club managed to get a point against Maziya Sports and Recreation Club after a 2-2 draw in tonight’s match of Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League.

In the second minute of the game, Pablo made a good shot but keeper Ifrah cleared it for a corner kick.

Maziya missed a golden opportunity to break the deadlock in the 13th minute when Mohamed Umair hits the woodwork.

Twelve minutes later Maziya’s keeper Nishah made a stunning save to stop the shot from Ibrahim Shiyam.

A minute later, Umair missed another goal scoring opportunity. Keeper Ifrah cleared his shot.

In the half hour mark Umair hits the woodworks again from a stunning shot inside the box.

Maziya broke the deadlock in the 38th minute from a good shot inside the six-yard box from a well-taken cross from Samdhooh from the left flank.

Ahmed Imaz missed another golden opportunity to double the lead. Imaz’s header inside the box went wide.

Eight minutes into the second half Ibrahim Shiyam missed a brilliant opportunity to level the game. His shot inside the box went wide.

In the 76th minute Ahmed Nashid doubled the lead from a good shot inside the box.

In the 81st minute BG Sports opened the scoring from the spot when referee awarded them a penalty for a foul sommitted by Saaif.

Three minutes later, Ibrahim Shiyam leveled the game from a wonderful shot inside the box.

New Radiant Sports Club will play against Mahibadhoo Sports Club tomorrow night at 2200 hours.
