MCMC 2016: BML wins Milo Club Maldives Cup

Male’, MALDIVES – United BML has won the Milo Club Maldives Cup after beating Club MRDC by 6-2 in the final match played at Maafannu Stadium last night.

Ishan Ibrahim took the lead for BML but few minutes later Abdulla Shafeeu leveled the game for MRDC.

However Ishan and Ibrahim Hamdhaan changed the score to 3-1. MRDC’s second goal came from Ali Nafiu.

Mohamed Naashid scored twice for BML and Ishan completed his hat trick to won the match by 6-2.

Fair play team was awarded to Team Fenaka and Abdulla Shaffan from Fenaka won the top scorer award. United BML’s coach Ismail Anil was awarded the best coach of the tournament.

Best five players of the tournament are Fenaka’s Ahmed Haleem, Hussain Shareef, MRDC’s Ahmed Ahusan, Mohamed Sujan and Ibrahim Hamdhaan from BML.

FAM’s normalization committee chairman Bassam Adeel Jaleel, Nestle Milo’s Business Development Manager Dishan Wijayawardene and Managing Director of Dhirham Travels, Mohamed Haleem distributed the awards.
