Important points for Mahibadhoo

Male', Maldives - Mahibadhoo Sports Club beat BG Sports Club 4-2 and moved up to fith place in the Dhiraagu Dhivehi League.

BG took an early lead through Nigerian Striker Kazeem's goal .

However Mahibadhoo's National team winger Hussain Niyaz Mohamed (Bokury) scored on 23 minutes, to bring the teams on level terms.

Mahibadhoo's Ivorian Stiker Necemon scored from a oppurtunity created by Bokury to give Mahibadhoo the lead, but BG's Simhann scored just before the break to make the game level once again.

Mahibadhoo took the lead once again on 54 minutes as Ismail Junaid scored their 3rd goal. Bokury, who had a excellent game, was once again involved in the goal.

Mahibadhoo extended their lead on 66 minutes as Junaid scored his second goal of the match.

With the win, Mahibadhoo move up to 5th place with six points. With one point BG is 7th place of the Table.

Mahibadhoo's coach Mohamed Shiyaz (Mohan) was delighted with the Victory.

"This result is a huge satisfaction. But there are still some matches that we need to get positive results. If we work hard, we can achive our goal," Mohan said.

BG's coach Mohamed Iqbal said that defensive errors cost them the game.

"We play well with the current squad we have but defensive error's are letting us down. We have experienced defenders but they are not displaying their experience on the pitch. We need to improve," Iqbal said.

Maziya will take on the Club Eagles in tonight's match of Dhiraagu Dhivehi League.
