What is the point of this? This is will do nothing to spur players further than they are already capable of, instead add more pressure on players.

It appears Shaveed is on the first leg of his marathon campaign for FAM president. He comes to the media at strategic time with lavish plans for national team and players that they are bringing a big coach, who has the experience of qualifying a team to world cup and now this hefty, healthy bonus. Anything good for the welfare of players and aid their improvement on the field is always welcome. One question through is, won’t this latest gesture, a tricky bonus can instead can have the reverse effect on their performance? That it may add undue pressure?

Everyone wants quick results but that wont happen. Even if they bring great coach for short term there wont be results. We need to look for the future. Current senior players can only give what they already have. See Nepal winning SAFF youth championship beating India. While our youth team was out of the tournament beaten 3-0 India, 3-1 Afghanistan. This price money can-be used more positively to develop our youth. And next administration will not be able to reverse this even if they don't want. And the question is why an interim administration is bringing so much change. There job should be to make way for new administration and run FAM smoothly.
