Male’, MALDIVES – New Radiant Sports Club has stunned United Victory last night after beating them by 3-0 in the ongoing Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League.

After the comfortable win against United Victory, New Radiant moved to the fourth position of the table with 13 points from 9 games. Meanwhile United Victory also got 13 points but New Radiant moved with the goal difference.

United Victory started the match without their key striker Keric.

Hussain Shimaz created the first attempt on target in the second minute from a free kick, which was saved by keeper Abu Sulemana.

Izzath Abdul Bari took the lead for the Blues from a stunning bicycle kick inside the box.

Hamza Mohamed increased the margin just before the break after taking advantage of a defensive mistake from United Victory. Hamza beat two defenders and slotted it into the bottom corner of the net.

Ahmed Niyaz changed the score to 3-1 in the hour mark after receiving the ball inside the box.

Maziya Sports and Recreation Club will play against Victory Sports Club on 29th of this month after a weeklong break for the Independence Day celebrations.
