Fadhuwa Zahir scored a brace as Maldives beat Bhutan by 3-1 to reach the semi finals of Women’s SAFF Championship for the first time.
The other goal in the game for Maldives was scored by Shamila.
Maldives started the tournament with a 5-2 win against Sri Lanka but was hammered by Nepal in the second game by 9-0.
Maldives will face either India or Bangladesh in the semi final.
