Eagles heads close to semi final

Club Eagles beat New Radiant by 3-0 to move a step closer to the semi final of this year’s President’s cup. New Radiant, who were taking part as the runners up of last year’s tournament, had only themselves to blame for failing to win anything in the game. With number of open chances for them, their strikers simply had an off day that allowed Eagles to comfortably win the game.

Eagles took the lead in the 14th minute courtesy of an own goal by youngster Ali Shaamiu.

Ibrahim Mubeen increased the lead for Eagles in the 64th minute and Riste made it 3-0 in the 74th minute.

Both New Radiant and Eagles will play against TC in their last game of three-team group. The winners and runners up of the group will reach the semi final.
