Cornelius Stewart netted twice as Maziya strolled to victory against Club Eagles on Saturday evening. Cornelius Stewart scored a stunning goal early in the match from a long range shot giving no chance to Sujan Pereira to save it.

Despite Eagles dominated the possession of the game, Maziya defense was way too organize not giving any open chances to score. Cornelius Stewart who was later named the Player of the Match doubled the score taking advantage of a mistake by Numah trying to clear the ball.

As both Maziya and Eagles concluded the first round of Male League, Maziya is on the second position with 13 points from all seven games. Eagles is on the fifth with 11 points.
