Club Eagles tops Male League point table beating Club Green Streets 2-1 this afternoon. Brazilian goal machine Luiz Eduardo Purcino opened the goal for Eagles just five minutes to the game. This is the fifth goal for Eduardo in his three games.
Green Streets levelled the game early in the second half from the goal by Mohamed Rishwan. Despite scoring a goal to level the game and creating chances, Green Streets couldn’t control as youngster Mohamed Naima again scored from a header to secure the three points for his side. This goal came from a heady by a free kick from Eduardo who was later named as the Player of the Match.
With today’s win against Green Streets, Club Eagles tops the point table with seven points from three games. Green Streets is yet to win a game so far in the STO Male League.
Club Eagles will face mighty New Radiant in their next encounter while Green Streets next match is against United Victory.
