‘TC is ready for it’ – Farrah eager to face Blues in Charity Shield

TC Sports captain Farrah Ahmed is pleased with his team’s pre-season groundwork ahead of Tuesday’s season kick-off at National Stadium. As runners-up of FA Cup 2017, Farrahs TC Sports will face rivals New Radiant; Champions of Dhivehi Premier League 2017 on Tuesday evening at 2100hrs.

TC Sports captain Farrah says his teammates are eager to kick off their local season in Cahirt Shield against mighty Blues.

“We have been well prepared for the match against New Radiant”.

“We hope and we will work hard to win the game”.

Farrah played a vital role in TC Sports success in the last season even though they were named silver medalist of namely Presidents Cup, FA Cup and Dhivehi Premier League where all gold medals were won by New Radiant.

Even though TC is set to kick-off the local season Tuesday against New Radiant they have played two official games on the calendar year; AFC Cup Preliminary Round against Saif Sporting Club of Bangladesh. TC Sports had made a good record of 4-1 aggregate against Bangladeshi side with comfortable 3-1 home win and 1-0 away win.

After the Charity Shield, Farrah and his mates will host Bengaluru FC of India in the playoff of AFC Cup 2018. Should they progress from the home and away playoff match against Bengaluru, TC will be placed with New Radiant, Champions of India; Aizawl FC and Champions of Bangladesh; Dhaka Abahani.
