Maziya SR who has played in the AFC Cup last few yeas has failed to qualify for the next edition of AFC Cup. Maziya failed to qualify as they lost to TC Sports today in the FA Cup semi final.

New Radiant has secured the direct slot of AFC Cup by winning Dhivehi League and TC Sports is the runners-up of the league.

The playoff slot for AFC Cup will be awarded to Champions of FA Cup and in case if same team wins both the league and FA Cup, the second slot (playoff slot) will be awarded to the runners up of Dhivehi League.

TC advanced to the final of FA Cup beating Maziya 2-0. TC will qualify for the AFC Cup playoff if Green Streets fails to beat New Radiant tomorrow evening.

Final of FA Cup is scheduled to be player on 6th December.
