Kudahuvadhoo team refused to continue the play after 76 minutes

The game between Kudahuvadhoo and Milandhoo was stopped after Kudahuvadhoo players refused to continue the play after Milandhoo scored the second goal of the match in the 76th minute.
Kudahuvadhoo players and officials were claiming that buildup to the goal, their player was fouled and the referee failed to award the free-kick to their side as the referee waved play-on after the incident.

Milandhoo were leading by 2-0 at that time, Ishan Ibrahim and Ibrahim Siyam were among the goal scorers for the sixth place team.

This was the second time that a game in this year’s Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League has been unable to complete. The previous game was between Maziya and Club Green Streets where the latter refused to continue the play due to poor refereeing. As a result, Club Green Streets received a fine and the 3-points were awarded to Maziya.

After their refusal to continue the play, Kudahuvadhoo team is expected to receive same punishment as Club Green Streets.
