Faruhad happy with important three points

Club Green Streets Captain Faruhad Ismail was delighted with the important but difficult win against United Victory in the Male’ League on Friday evening.  Green Streets made the 1-0 narrow win through first half penalty from Sobol Illia.  

Speaking exclusively to Maldivesoccer, captain Faruhad described the match as a difficult match. He noted that the break between games has made it more difficult and loses the momentum.

“It was a really difficult match, but luckily we managed to get the three points”.

“It takes too long between two games and it’s really difficult for us because of the long breaks”.

Green Streets is placed fifth in the table with seven points from four games. The new comers made a surprising win against Victory SC in their opener. Later managed a point against Valencia too.

Faruhad also praised his former teammate and current coach Sobah Mohamed for the brilliant game plan that gave them the important win.

“After Sobah’s training in Barcelona, the trainings are a lot better. He is an inspiration for all of us”.

Green Streets will face Club Eagles in their next encounter. Eagles is placed ahead of Green Streets with goal difference. Eagles has also got seven points from four games.

“We will not take any game lightly. We will try to earn as much as points possible”.
