Victory under pressure says Eagles coach

Victory Sports Club is under pressure, says Club Eagles boss Ihsan Abdul Gani ahead of showdown. Victory who has lost their first two games against newly promoted Green Streets and New Radiant will face Club Eagles this afternoon.

Speaking about the match, Ihsan said that all the pressure is for his opponent and his boys will face the match with a free mind with no pressure.

“The public has ranked us below Victory”.

“Victory has been ranked among the “best teams” and since we are ranked as a low profile team, there is no pressure for us”.

On the other hand, Victory coach Ali Suzain admitted what Ihsan said about Victory.

“Yes, we are under pressure as we have lost the first two games”.

“Also Eagles is the most organized team we have seen recently. That is an additional pressure for us in this situation”.

Today’s match will kick off at the 1600hrs

  1. Santhi with his version of mind games is typically playing into the hands of bruised and battered Victory SC smarting from poor start to the new season. Nobody better than Suzain will know it, he is the father of modern mind games of Maldives football, which many a time have backfired spectacularly. Suzain’s rallying cry therefore will be you don’t need to be reminded of what needs to done as you are being riled up by the opposition coach. Show him that you cannot get away with such cheap remarks!

Something tells me Santhi is exactly going find that this afternoon!
