Sekulovski anticipates tough game against Green Streets

Marjan Sekulovski, is anticipating a tough match against a stubborn opposition when Maziya takes on Green Streets this evening in STO Male’ League. 

As Maziya look to make it back-to-back wins in the league, the boss knows that it won’t be easy against new comers as they have already shocked Victory and Valencia in their opening two games. 

Green Street won by a goal to nil against Victory and was held by Valencia with a score of one goal each. 

“Even if they are a youth team in the first division, they are looking very experienced”. 

“All the players in Green Street have played in big teams in Maldives and they are very experienced”. 

Maziya has already played two games in the current football season. Their first match was the Season Opener against Valencia and the second match was League Opener against Eagles. Both games ended in an identical score of one goal to nil in favor for Maziya. 

The Macedonian mastermind Marjan Sekulovski, who is also the first ever foreign coach for Maziya said that his side was unable to score goals in their first two games and has been trying to improve on those issue. 

“I think in those two games we got enough chances to score maybe five or seven goals. Those are 100% scoring chances”. 

Sekulovski also noted that his opponent for the next game is disciplined team and is not going to be easy. 

“They are disciplined in the game and they have a good plan”. 

“They are aggressive”.
