Sobah optimistic after Valencia draw

Newly promoted Green Streets Coach Sobah Mohamed claims the result was not bad for his side after Valencia held them to a 1-1 draw yesterday.

Sobah said he was expecting for a win, but he believes the result was not bad for his side. Valencia came from behind in the game to share a point.

“We were expecting to gain all three points and we worked hard for that”.

Sobol Illia scored the opening goal for Green Street five minutes before half time but Chinonye Prince Chinda leveled the game for Valencia just minutes later.

Sobah was happy that his side dominated the game and created more chances. Also Sobah praised the performance of Valencia goalkeeper Faisal.

“Faisal was outstanding!”.

Green Streets who is currently on the top of the table with four points from two games will face defending Champions Maziya on Thursday evening.
