Victory in difficult situation says Suzain

Victory Sports Club coach Ali Suzain says his side is in a difficult situation as they are set to face rivals New Radiant SC in the ongoing STO Male’ League 2017.

Victory lost their opening match against newcomers Green Street last week.

Speaking ahead of the match against New Radiant, Suzain said that during the last few days he has figured our that his side is not fully prepared for the season. And he takes the match against New Radiant as a big challenge.

“After our first match I figured out that Victory is not fully prepared. I have learned that the team has not been trained for set pieces, attacking plays and even defensive moves”.

The controversial handover of Victory to Suzain happened less than a week ahead of their fist game.

“I found out that Victory was not ready for the season when it was just five days for the game”.

“So this is a big challenge for me and for Victory”

“After the game against New Radiant I will figure out things which I have to focus on up coming games and also its good that I will get some time after this match.

Victory and New Radiant faced each other thrice last season and both teams managed one win and the other match was all squared.

Both New Radiant and Victory has been strengthened for this season after a poor finish last season. New Radiant concluded at the fifth position while Victory played playoff against runners-up of second division last year to secure a spot in the top flight.
