Kiran ready to face former club in SKIC Cup semi final

When TC Sports Club play in the semifinal of Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup today against Manang Marsyangdi Club of Nepal, for TC goalkeeper Kiran Chemjong the opponent is no unfamiliar side.

“It’s my job to work hard and win the game”. 

“They are my friends but on the field they are my opponent, so I will do my best”. Chemjong said in an exclusive interview to maldivesoccer. 

Chemjong also believes that it is an advantage for his side as he knows the style of his former team.

“I know their style of play and I am aware of them. It’s an advantage for me and TC when we face them in a knockout match. I have told my teammates and coaching staff about them”

“Also our coach has seen their last two games”. 

“I am confident- but not over confident”.  

TC qualified for the semifinal of the tournament as the winners of group A with seven points , Manang Marsyangdi Club entered the semifinal as the runners-up of Group B.
